The aim for this blog is to facilitate an on going fascination with the global economy and the importance of energy. My focus will be on the changing landscape of both the supply side and the demand side of the crude oil market, as well as the resulting refined products markets.
The central focus is on a broad sentiment incorporating topics ranging from physical resource constraints to economic development; content will range accordingly. However, everything is contained under the umbrella of the term Peak Oil Dynamic (POD). Peak Oil is a loaded term that means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. The inclusion of Dynamic is used in this blog to move the focus away from a literal peak in oil production and onto the many implications of a tightening market.
I am neither an Oil & Gas expert, nor am I a high level economist. I have created this blog to muse outloud, simplify my thoughts, and hopefully gain some insights as this story unfolds.
